This work represents the first phase of a three-part initiative to systematically replace water infrastructure in the area. Public Works staff expressed confidence in P.T. Ferro, which has successfully completed projects for the village in the past.
In a related move, the board also approved a proposal for Christopher Burke Engineering to handle the design of the second phase of the project. This next stage will focus on replacing water mains on G-Lane, Hawthorne Lane, and Fur Lane, with construction anticipated to begin in the spring of 2027.
