The Knights added two more in the fourth and one in the sixth to keep the pressure on. However, Providence Catholic surged late, erasing the deficit with a decisive three-run rally in the seventh inning to steal the victory.

The Knights’ offense was aggressive at the plate, collecting 11 hits. Luke Tingley led the charge with a perfect 2-for-2 performance, including a double, a walk, and an RBI. Conor McCabe also recorded a multi-hit game, finishing 2-for-3 with an RBI.

On the mound, Alex Panos provided steady relief work, pitching 5.1 innings and striking out four batters while allowing three earned runs. Despite the strong offensive production and solid pitching, Lincoln-Way Central couldn’t fend off the late-game rally from the visiting side.
