BRADLEY, IL – The Bradley-Bourbonnais varsity softball team dominated Monday’s conference matchup, cruising to an 11-0 shutout victory over Lincoln-Way Central.

The Boilermakers’ offense was firing on all cylinders, racking up 15 hits and capitalizing on defensive miscues to score in every inning from the third frame onward. L. Middlebrook headlined the power surge, tallying two home runs and driving in four runs to pace the Bradley-Bourbonnais lineup. B. Schriefer also provided a major boost, contributing a double and four RBIs in the winning effort.

In the circle, Abbie Hofbauer was nearly untouchable. She tossed a complete-game gem, allowing just one hit and one walk over five innings of work while striking out three. The Lincoln-Way Central offense struggled to generate momentum against Hofbauer, managing only a single hit from Bridget Barz throughout the afternoon.

Bradley-Bourbonnais opened the scoring with three runs in the third inning before erupting for four runs in the fourth and another four in the fifth to end the game early via the mercy rule. With the victory, the Boilermakers demonstrated both offensive efficiency and defensive stability, finishing the contest with a flawless 1.000 fielding percentage.
