The board unanimously passed Resolution #25-14, an intergovernmental agreement with the Illinois Finance Authority concerning electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. Commissioner Dale Larson reported that this agreement is a crucial step toward installing charging stations. “Once this is complete, we can schedule the installation with the state vendor and apply for grants to help offset the costs,” Larson said.
In a move to ensure compliance with accessibility standards, the board adopted Resolution #25-15, authorizing an agreement with WT Group AEC, LLC.
Additionally, the commissioners approved two resolutions granting Comcast access for work at specific district properties: 901 Country Creek Drive and 520 S. Cedar Road.
