NEW LENOX, IL – The New Lenox Community Park District board on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, unanimously approved several key financial items, including a 9% increase for the 2026 employee health plan and the acquisition of a new vehicle for its fleet.

During the committee reports, Director of Business Services Jason Braglia informed the board of the 9% rate increase in the PDRMA 2026 Health Plan. Braglia stated that the increase is within the district’s budget and comparable to rates seen by other organizations. He also highlighted that the district covers 100% of employee health insurance premiums, with employees paying for any additional family coverage. The board later formally approved the health plan selection during the new business portion of the meeting.

In other business, the board passed Resolution #25-12, authorizing a lease-purchase agreement with De Lage Landen Public Finance, LLC for a 2026 Ford F-250 4×4 truck. Commissioner Larson had earlier reported that the new vehicle had arrived and would be picked up on October 17, 2025, bringing the district’s fleet “back to normal.”

Commissioners also unanimously voted to accept the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 audit. Commissioner Ott noted that the audit report was received late, preventing a detailed board review before the meeting, but stated that “everything looks good.” A full presentation and review of the audit findings are scheduled for the November meeting.
