Board member Bill Pender, serving as the district’s delegate to the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB), reported on a proposed resolution regarding seatbelts and harnesses on school buses. The resolution, which will be voted on at the Joint Conference in November, requests funding and waivers for the unfunded mandate.
