The taxpayer funds are being made available through the Rebuild Illinois capital plan for electric vehicle projects authorized under the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA). Additional funding will also be awarded to projects at a charging station location identified as an Equity Investment Eligible Community. The Illinois EPA will begin accepting applications on Monday, Nov. 17.
