The New Lenox Community Park District board on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, unanimously approved two resolutions to contract with Reliable Fire & Security Co. for system monitoring services across its facilities.
The first measure, Resolution #25-09, authorizes a “Site Take Over Agreement,” which formally transfers management of the district’s existing fire and security systems to the new vendor. President Schulz requested a motion to approve the resolution, which was made by Commissioner Kraemer and seconded by Commissioner Larson.
Immediately following, the board passed Resolution #25-10, which authorizes an “Annual Monitoring Agreement” with the same company. This second agreement establishes the ongoing service contract for Reliable Fire & Security Co. to actively monitor the district’s alarm systems. The motion for this resolution was made by Commissioner Ott and seconded by Commissioner Fischer.
Both resolutions were passed unanimously by a voice vote of the commissioners present. The agreements will ensure that security and fire alarm systems at all park district parks and buildings are professionally monitored.
